Have'nt had a chance to try the rods out yet, but friday looks good for a chuck. Low tonight of 3-4 getting warmer through the week. Forecast for thurs 8-9 day 7-8 night. Fair bit of water about as you might imagine but there will be fishable areas as long as I can get the Landrover somewere handy.

Bonjour mon ami! Bit cold here at the moment; in fact it hasnt got much higher than 4c locally and around 1c in mornings.

The warks avon was around 41f (my digi doesnt do centigrade?) when i left it friday after a five hour blank. Me and Pete decided to give it a miss monday. Back out friday if it warms up enough. Some rain due shortly.

Temps here right now 11.45pm (local) is 45 deg f, been into the 50's today, drove over the river on wed and was 3 - 4 ft on and nicely coloured.

Bummer.

Managed to get out last night, came up to 43.5f, but they were'nt having it. Had a big liner, which pulled the tip round and bent the rod over nicely, which was the only excitement of the evening, but the line/hook cam adrift soon after. Think it might have been a carp drifting through. Think there will be half a dozen or more of us at Tewkesbury on sunday after the zeds, so will say hello.
