yesterday it was ok managed half a dozen chub and 1 barbel about 6lb,well i went on today at first light and couldn't beleive how much water was on it there must have been 3-4ft i couldn't get on the pegs i usually fish.i had walk down another stretch and a guy had just got there,first chuck a 10lb 5oz beatiful fish.
went and had a look at lunchtime and it has started dropping so if we dont get anymore rain tonight i will be on tomorrow.

Karl, you can catch good fish in broad light if your prepared to work for them. I think this time of year is magic.....Good luck mate

off on the ribble in a couple of hours for the day and depending on levels might even do a night session as i have 4 days off work .had an 8lb barbel last weekend after dark.

Twas up about 12-18 inches Tuesday night, with a bit of colour. Barbel were feeding - before and after dark.

Nice one Tony! I'm jealous mate, I can't get on until weekend due to family commitments. you know I feel badly done to unless I get on at least 3 time a week..

got my first Barbel of the season today it was just over 7lb managed half a dozen chub as well up to 4lb.Thought i lost the barbel when it snagged me and everything went solid so let the line go slack for a minute and it freed itself jammy bugger me

I've Just got back from feeding your Ducks BM. The river is about 10" up and the colour has dropped out. managed 1 Barbel of 7lb and a nice Chub about 4lb

Very fine hemp it is too. :-) But it's my hookbaits that sort out the bigger fish.
