Hi all anybody out on the first day have any luck gave it a miss myself as it was too hot and too bright out tomorrow though had a walk on my favourite stretch plenty of chub spotted but no barbus as yet will be trying a couple of different areas ...

Not long to go now boy-o-boy cant wait to get on the river again. The rivers are so low and clear it will be realy tricky trying not to spook them when you find them but realy satisfying stalking and creeping the bank
