avon.the kennet has been slow and i have had five fish to 8.04 on elips pellets,
in six trips.the avon has also been slow, ihave had one fish in two trips so far.{9.14}
one tip.dont treat barbel fishing like carp fishing, presentation wise all the time.
carp tactics work ok when barbel are "on" but when they are finicky,like now
be more subtle.tip two watch "barbel days and ways dvds.all the best.nick.

You have asked for tips could you just give me a idea where you fish rivers and location also what tackle you are using and hopefully i could pass on some ideas .I am based in essex but my better half is from Chester so i have inlaws there and do visit up there and fish the Dee and Seven also have fished the Teme and Dove
